Let me briefly explain exactly when and how your body produces testosterone while you sleep.  

As we sleep our bodies rotate through several “stages” a night…
  • Stage one is when your body transitions from being awake to falling asleep…
  • Stage two is when your body temperature begins to drop… your heart rate slows down… and you begin to sink deeper into sleep…
  • Stage three is the most important stage for men… because it’s when “anabolic-burst wave sleep” happens.
Anabolic-burst wave sleep is the deepest sleep wave for men

And it’s when 95% of your testosterone, growth hormone and other male hormones are produced… and it’s also when your body recovers from workouts and recharges energy for the next day.     

There is a fourth stage of sleep that you’ve probably heard a lot about… called rapid-eye movement sleep… which is also important for how you feel the next day…
